A hotel from which the best is always expected:)

The hotel is considered one of the best on the Antalya coast, so we had high expectations :) A lot depends on previous experiences, the guests, and the season. We stayed at the end of May with two children, aged 6 and 4.

We booked the Royal Suite Family – this room category is located near the main restaurants, not far from the pools and beach. The Royal Suite Family has 2 separate bedrooms (twin and double) with a living room in between, 185 sq.m. When staying with children, it's very convenient to have two separate bathrooms. However, note that the room with separate beds has no partitions or doors to the bathroom, just a door to the shower (as seen in the photo). Also, if you have thick long hair, it’s better to bring your own hairdryer, as they provide a Valera 1600W:) The room has a large terrace with a jacuzzi and places to relax. There is a pillow menu and aroma menu – you can choose a scent for the room every day. An iron and ironing board are available upon request.

The hotel is located in a separate bay, a very picturesque place with great spots for photos and walks, with mountain goats walking around the territory. Because of the many trees, there are plenty of places to hide from the heat.

The hotel has three separate beaches: one for 16+, a general one, and one with pavilions for reservation (500 euros per day, including a bottle of Moët & Chandon). If you're staying in a villa on the first line, it’s free. All beaches have fine pebbles. There are parasailing, water skiing, surfing, and canoeing available.

Two main pools: one with seawater and heating (even at the end of May), the other with regular water, unheated. There’s also an indoor pool in the SPA and a pool in the villa area and Maxx Laguna rooms.

I can mention that here are some of the best A la Carte restaurants on the Antalya coast. There are restaurants where you can come for lunch or dinner without prior reservation and extra charges (if you have all-inclusive), and others require additional reservations and payments. For example, the Michelin-starred Gastro by Alfredo Russo (children 8+, adults 50 euros per person, better to book a few days in advance), the Asian restaurant Bishoku, and the Steakhouse Bronze.

There’s a main restaurant that operates 24/7. Cheese, vegetables, and cold snacks are available under glass upon request; everything else is from the menu, no buffet. There’s baby food, kefir, and yogurts for children. However, orders during breakfast took 40-50 minutes, which is not very convenient when traveling with children.

The hotel makes incredibly tasty handmade chocolate with various fillings, from liqueur to cheese. At Le Melange café, you can taste very delicious desserts and Mövenpick ice cream.

The kids' club operates from 10 AM to 12 midnight, with activities for different ages. Our children, aged 4 and 6, were entertained – they painted, engaged in creativity, and earned rewards :) Next to the club, there’s a children’s water park. The restaurant for kids is located in the club itself, so if the kids stay all day, they can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. In the evening, there’s a mini-disco and entertainment programs for children, separate from adult programs. 

There are daily entertainment programs for adults, with themed nights and musicians on the beach, but we mostly spent this time at the mini-disco.

At the SPA, you can consult with a specialist who will help you choose an individual program for wellness and body recovery. There’s a salt room, saunas, a hammam, and an indoor pool with a separate part for children. There’s also a SPA for children and babies up to 2 years old (available upon request in the kids' club).

The Maxx Assistant service now works through a special app, but responses to requests take a long time, and it's not always clear whether your message was received or not. Perhaps this aspect will be improved, but the app is currently not very convenient and functional.
