Overall, everything is great, but there are a few nuances

Weather: during the first few days, it was a bit windy in the mornings (until around 10 a.m.), but then it was perfect — the sun was quite strong, but the breeze made it feel comfortable.

Later, the wind completely died down, and the weather was just amazing.

The water temperature was 25.6°C (at least that's what they measured in our hotel).

Hotel: the first night we stayed in a dirty room in the first building (( it was really noisy because there was a disco until 11 p.m. The next day, some better rooms became available and we were moved to a nicer one, closer to the sea. They filled the minibar for free and gave us some nice extras like slippers, toothbrushes with toothpaste, etc.

This room was clean and comfortable, everything worked properly. For just $1, housekeeping did a great job and even made towel animals.

The hotel grounds are compact, but honestly, it's more than enough. Lots of greenery, and it's clearly well maintained.

Last time (in 2021), there were a lot of artificial flowers at the reception, and I mentioned in my review that it didn’t look very nice. This time, there were none. Maybe just a coincidence, but still pleasant 😊

Food: the variety was always huge — meat, fish, shrimp. But we personally didn’t find it tasty ((( We talked to other guests, and many said the same — in most hotels it’s like that. All the food tastes the same because they use the same spices, which just aren’t to our liking.

Reef: no words — I’m absolutely satisfied. In 2021, I saw a huge Napoleon fish near the hotel. This year, it showed up again 😍 Also saw a tuna, a barracuda, and many other large fish. The reef is vibrant, alive, and diverse.

Guests who’ve stayed in many different hotels in Egypt also said this reef is very good. Maybe not the very best, but definitely great for the price 💴

The only downside is that there’s no entry from the shore, so people who can’t swim and kids are a bit limited when it comes to swimming.

Service: everything was great. We were moved to a better room, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Excursion: we went on one paid boat trip to Ras Mohammed National Park. And here's the highlight — my mom, who can’t swim and is afraid of water, actually dared to go scuba diving! She was absolutely blown away by the experience. Full five stars for that ⭐️

Overall impression: this definitely isn’t a 5-star hotel. Maybe because it’s run entirely by men? 😂 If you compare 5⭐️ in Bukovel and in Egypt — this one’s more like a 3⭐️.

But we were happy with everything, and the trip was worth every penny we paid.
