Best Western Plus Hotel Brice Garden

The hotel is conveniently located — just a 5-minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais and the beach, and 10 minutes from Nice’s main train station. From there, you can take a train to Monte Carlo or Cannes. As of April 2025, train travel along the French Riviera is free for Ukrainians with a valid passport.

The hotel offers different types of rooms. We booked a Triple Room – Prestige. UNIT’s support team sent our request in advance for a room with a balcony or terrace, and the hotel fulfilled it — we got room 101. However, the front desk informed us that only a few rooms like this exist, and they cannot guarantee them even with early booking.

The room condition was 5/5 — newly renovated, spacious and comfortable beds, great soundproofing. There was a mini fridge, kettle, capsule coffee machine, TV, safe, large wardrobe, and a heater/AC (we used it for heating). The toilet and shower were in separate rooms — the toilet also had a small sink and window. The shower was designed unusually (I’ll show it in the video). There was hot water, white towels, a hairdryer, toiletries including soap and body lotion. The terrace was large, with a table, two chairs, and two loungers.

A nice bonus — a Ukrainian woman works at reception. From 2 PM to 6 PM, guests can enjoy free coffee, tea, or water in the lobby.

The hotel operates on a breakfast basis. Breakfast includes six types of loose-leaf tea, a coffee machine, freshly squeezed orange juice, yoghurts, fruits, vegetables, pastries, jams, pancakes, eggs in various styles, sausages, cold cuts, cheeses, and cereals. The restaurant manager is also Ukrainian.

The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, but there are many paid options nearby — the average cost is around €25 per day.
