A decent 3* hotel
We had a room in the main building, which was very good
The furniture is old but not broken, everything worked
Food without sophistication, but varied — there was always fish (several types), and meat like pork and chicken
No animation, only one disco evening
No drinking water, we bought it in the nearby shop, €0.40 for 1.5L

Beach
The hotel doesn’t have its own beach, as it’s on the opposite side of the road. Just a few minutes’ walk
The beach is sandy with small pebbles, gentle entry
Not too many people, it didn’t feel crowded. Plenty of beach bars — if you order drinks, sunbeds are included. Approximate prices: beer €5.5, prosecco €9
The sea is clean, waves moderate in the afternoon. During our stay there were no red flags

Infrastructure
Lots of souvenir and grocery shops nearby
Bus stop right at the hotel. 20 minutes to Heraklion center, €1.60 one way. Buses run fairly often
But because the roads are narrow, there are frequent traffic jams, crossing the street is hard, zebra crossings are almost nonexistent, traffic lights are mostly decorative and don’t work
And there’s rubbish everywhere, especially at the airport — overloaded and simply not cleaned in time

Overall impression 8/10
We had a good lazy holiday, like seals )
But I don’t want to go to Crete again ))
