Warsaw Presidential Hotel — excellent service and comfort, but the price is quite steep.

Coming to Warsaw with my family, I spent quite some time choosing where to stay. The deciding factor was the rooms with two large beds — something surprisingly rare even in five-star hotels. We were traveling as a family of three, with a child, and this setup let us stay comfortably without having to deal with extra sofas or those narrow fold-out beds. Spacious, clean, cozy — big plus for that.

The view from our room was amazing — the Palace of Culture looked as if it was standing right outside the window, glowing almost magically in the morning light. The mattresses were comfortable, the linens crisp white, and the bathroom stocked with Rituals toiletries. Everything seemed perfect — until the moment I saw the bill for underground parking. I was honestly shocked — 500 PLN per night for parking!

Thanks to the front desk for lowering it to 200 PLN (the rate for hotel guests), but honestly, even that feels way too high.

Breakfast was fine — nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. A standard buffet: fresh, but missing those local touches you’d expect from a hotel of this class.

Unfortunately, the spa was closed during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. I’d seen photos of the pool overlooking the city and was really looking forward to it. Guess it just wasn’t our lucky timing.

The hotel’s location, however, is spot on — the train station is right next door, and a shopping mall just behind it. Perfect if you’re traveling by train or planning a bit of shopping.

Would I stay here again? Probably not. For this price, Warsaw has plenty of great hotels where the experience feels more in line with what you pay for. Still, it was a pleasant stay overall — and if comfort, space, and a good view for your family are your priorities, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Cons: overpriced parking, ordinary breakfast, spa closed, rooms (and the hotel overall) need renovation — it’s no longer the Marriott Hotel 5★ it used to be in terms of service.
