VAYA Sölden, Austria

Colleagues, I’d like to share my experience with you! I spent a weekend in Austria, in Sölden, where I opened the ski season. We stayed for two nights at the VAYA Sölden hotel with half board: breakfast was a buffet, and dinner was à la carte with a different selection of dishes every evening. The hotel has a spa area with a dry sauna and an aroma sauna, available from 14:00 to 21:00. The ski lift is just a 3-minute walk away, and skiing on the glacier starts at 9:00 and lasts until 16:30. A ski pass costs €58 per day for adults and €38 for children.

Since the ski season has only just fully opened, the ski rental shops are only beginning to operate. Rental for two adults and one child cost us €125 per day. The bus to the glaciers runs twice in the morning and returns at 16:30 after the slopes close.

After check-out, the hotel administration surprised us with a wonderful gift — they gave us the Sölden Summer Card, valid until October 20. With it, we visited the Aqua Dome spa center for three hours and the 007 Elements museum nearby, all free of charge.

Sölden is not just about skiing — it’s a true getaway for the soul!
