Sea, Beach & Jetty

Bad news: the pontoon is flooded and damaged after the storm.

There’s a lagoon for little ones and for simply floating in the water.

Beaches lie on both sides of the headland: if one side is windy, the other is usually comfortable.

Reef:

Excellent and vibrant for beginners.

Rooms

In-room amenities included: soap, cotton buds, a shower cap, and a dispenser with shower gel and liquid soap.

Not provided: toothbrushes/toothpaste, slippers, bathrobes.

Notes: rooms are dated and need refurbishment.

Entertainment

White Party once a week — bring something white; it looks very atmospheric.

Entertainment is mainly in Italian, overall soft.

Expect belly dance, skirt dances, Italian stand-up, and “Miss” & “Mister Hotel” contests.

Not a party hotel — better for a quiet beach holiday. There are few children (a plus for some).

Dining

Overall verdict: tasty, though not highly varied.

Fish daily; red fish appeared 2–3 times.

Prawns twice a week — tasty and not overcooked.

Grilled squid — tender but spicy.

Crabs were available, though “there’s hardly any meat”.

Lovely buns, focaccia, grissini, and daytime pizza.

Braised beef and chicken in several styles.

Good desserts — strudel and choux pastries.

Fruit is available, but not in large variety.

A separate display houses the “tastiest bits.”

Cons:

Limited variety overall.

If you’re not into pasta/flour-based dishes, options narrow further.

Alcohol in à la carte is chargeable.

Bars, Drinks & Ice Cream

No bar on the beach, but the grounds are compact — about 3 minutes to the nearest bar.

Served: beer, spirits, cocktails, coffee, soft drinks.

Ice cream: 15:00–16:00 in one bar; fruit ice lollies available most of the time.

Location & Infrastructure

Nothing within walking distance outside the hotel.

Everything by taxi: SOHO Square, Old Town — up to $5 via Indrive.

Grounds are very picturesque: lots of greenery, flowers, romantic corners; great photo spots; sunbeds readily available by the pool and on the beach.

Internet

Usable Wi-Fi is scarce around the hotel.

Other Useful Notes

Beach towels issued 07:30–15:00.

No beach toilet — use the ones higher up on the grounds.

The tennis court is in very poor condition.

Guests previously stayed at Tamra Beach 4* — food here is much better than at Sharm Club Beach Resort 4*. Overall, they liked the hotel for its atmosphere and views.
