A comfort oasis right by the slopes

A great, popular hotel near the Teola lift in Livigno.

At first glance it looks like a typical Alpine hotel — but there’s a nice twist.

The spa is included in the rate, and it features a warm panoramic pool. Parking is included too.

There’s a mini club (surprisingly!), mainly as a way to keep children busy with a little quest while parents are in the spa (we heard games in Polish).

You can also pop into the lobby from the street for a coffee — lovely atmosphere and friendly reception staff.

The buildings were extended in stages, so getting to some rooms can feel like walking through a bit of a “maze”, but that’s a local quirk — the nearby Intermonti 4* is similar.

Rooms vary depending on the building, but nothing feels outdated — the whole hotel is in good condition.

Guests praise the food, rooms and service, and judging by how busy it is, that seems accurate.

A few practical notes: the Teola lift is right by the hotel (the Mottolino area), and there’s also a ski rental shop nearby.

However, if you’re a beginner and need a ski school, it’s better to stay in the centre (there’s another hotel called Bivio there).

There’s a stop for the free ski bus right next to the hotel (red and yellow lines), which takes you to both Mottolino and Carosello.

Definitely one of the best hotels in Livigno.

Just be careful when booking: there are three hotels called Bivio in Livigno, so always double-check the exact location of the one you’re reserving.
