A modern city hotel

I chose this hotel for my own trip to Kuala Lumpur based on a few key criteria: it’s close to major shopping malls and it has a rooftop pool with views of the Petronas Towers. Another big plus was the glass-floor viewing area on the roof. In Kuala Lumpur, the Petronas skybridge with a glass floor is a must-visit — but by choosing this hotel, I didn’t go there, because I had a similar “glass floor” experience right in the hotel, and effectively saved about $30 on the entrance ticket.

In addition to standard rooms, there are rooms with private pools and apartments that can accommodate up to 6 people. Either way, I’d recommend choosing a room with a Petronas view — it’s absolutely worth it.
I stayed in an apartment: two separate bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus a kitchen-living area. One important detail: the kitchen isn’t equipped for cooking. You get plates, glasses, cutlery, etc., but there were no pans or saucepans, and they don’t provide them even on request — despite the fact that there is a hob. There’s also a washing machine and a dryer. The interior design throughout the hotel is high-quality and modern. However, some apartments have a bedroom without a window — something to keep in mind.

Breakfasts were incredibly varied and delicious: fresh juices, fruit, seafood, and more.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hotel. Outside near the entrance there’s a tiny bench, and staff told me you’re only allowed to smoke if you’re sitting on it. Later, though, I found out that the bar on the top floor is actually a full smoking area as well. The bar is very atmospheric, with the same Petronas views and an excellent cocktail menu.

The location is within walking distance of KLCC Park, Pavilion Mall, and the night market.

Overall, I was completely happy with my stay and would choose this hotel again if I travel to Kuala Lumpur in the future.
