CASTELASTVA 4* in Petrovac is located right next to Ami 5*, just to the side. It looks quite decent — small and compact. There’s a large on-site car park in front of the hotel (around 20 cars) and it’s free of charge. The hotel is about 50 years old, with the last renovation completed in 2014. It’s on the second line from the sea, and there’s a supermarket opposite. The reception area has been updated and feels modern.
The restaurant is spacious with colourful chairs — the hotel’s overall style is very colourful.
🍴Dining is All Inclusive.
There’s an outdoor pool on a slightly elevated spot surrounded by trees — the views are stunning, although I think there may not be enough sun loungers in peak season.
Overall, there isn’t really any proper hotel grounds.
The hotel shares a beach area with Hotel Palas, but sunbeds and umbrellas are paid — 50% of the standard beach price.
Beach towels are collected directly at the beach.
SPA: sauna and hammam.
The gym is open.
There’s no animation/entertainment at all. So it’s best for a quiet holiday or for active travellers who plan to spend evenings walking along the promenade.
For children, there’s an outdoor mini club near the entrance to the hotel area, plus a playground there as well.
116 rooms in total:
There are two buildings: the first is newer and has a lift; the second is older and has no lift (they said they would help carry suitcases).
Standard rooms (only 4 with sea view) are 25 m².
22 family rooms.
14 apartments.
Rooms don’t really offer extra amenities apart from a safe.
