A stylish city boutique hotel in the heart of Madeira’s capital.

This Barceló chain hotel is located right in the historic center of Funchal (Old Town). It has no territory at all, but the location is максимально central: just 2 minutes to the port and cruise ships. All main attractions and points of interest are within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and quite new. It features a small but красивый rooftop panoramic pool; however, there are only about 20 sunbeds, so availability is limited. The hotel is чаще всего booked for short stays before cruises or for sightseeing trips  it’s not really designed for relaxing hotel-based holidays.

From the rooftop pool and bar, you get beautiful views of the port. The surrounding area can be quite noisy due to cafes, music, and crowds - especially if your room faces the street.

It’s a great option for a couple of days if you want to stay in the center of the action, but not ideal for relax.

Good variety suitable for different types of travelers: hot dishes, fruits, coffee, omelets, and more.

Rooms
Nice, modern rooms, but not very spacious.
