Marhaba Club 4*

A hotel with a very convenient location in the centre of the tourist area of Sousse.

Directly opposite the hotel exit, there is the Slim Centre shopping mall, with shops, cafés and other infrastructure nearby.

Guests can use the grounds of the neighbouring hotels within the complex: Marhaba Beach and Occidental Marhaba. Restaurants and bars, however, are available only in your own hotel.

The evening entertainment took place at Occidental Marhaba, where guests were allowed to get drinks from the bar.

Shisha in the Moorish café cost 20 dinars. By Tunisian standards, it was quite good. This was at Occidental Marhaba.

The hotel was renovated in 2018. The grounds are well maintained, with lots of greenery, palm trees and lawns. There is, however, one separate area without grass — perhaps something is planned there.

The hotel has 1 main restaurant and 3 bars.

The food was a pleasant surprise. We stayed here for one night and had both breakfast and dinner. Personally, I liked the cuisine even more than at Steigenberger Marhaba Thalasso.

There is an outdoor pool for adults, a heated indoor pool, a children’s pool and 2 pools with water slides for children of different ages.

Maximum occupancy — 3 guests.

The rooms are simple, without excessive décor, but generally tidy. The shelf in the desk was dirty.

One downside is the not very practical bathroom design. The glass screen covers only part of the bathtub, so after taking a shower, quite a lot of water ends up on the floor.

Beach:
The beach access is located between the three hotels of the complex, effectively opposite the Occidental Marhaba building.

The beach area is fenced and closed at night to prevent outsiders from entering the complex.

Marhaba Club 4* is a good option for tourists who want to stay in the centre of Sousse’s resort life, have access to a large territory and enjoy good-quality food at a reasonable price.
