A comfortable hotel in Kraków after arriving at the airport

After an evening arrival in Kraków, we decided not to continue our journey and stayed for one night at Novotel Kraków City West. We reached the hotel quickly by car, check-in was smooth and without delays, and the staff were friendly.

The room turned out to be quite simple. If you have stayed at other Novotel hotels before, the interior and overall condition of this room may feel more modest. Personally, we were not particularly impressed with the room, although it was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. For one night, it was perfectly sufficient.

Out of the three lifts, only two were working during our stay, so at busier times we had to wait a few minutes.

The hotel has its own restaurant. We had dinner there — the food was genuinely tasty, but the menu was limited and, in my opinion, the prices were rather high.

The car park is located right next to the hotel, in an open-air parking area. There is no underground garage. Parking cost 70 PLN per night, which is also worth taking into account when booking.

Breakfast was good: there was a decent selection of hot dishes, pastries, fruit and coffee. Before continuing the journey, it was more than enough.

At a rate of around €90 per night, I consider this hotel a decent option for a short stop after a flight or before continuing a journey. However, if you are planning to spend several days in Kraków and would prefer a more modern room, I would look at other Novotel hotels. But for one night, this option fully justifies its price.
