Loews Hollywood Hotel. Life in the very heart of Hollywood

I stayed at Loews Hollywood Hotel during FIFA 2026, so I had the chance to experience the hotel during a major sporting event.

The first thing that truly stands out is the location. The hotel is literally in the heart of Hollywood: Hollywood Walk of Fame, Dolby Theatre, TCL Chinese Theatre, as well as plenty of restaurants and shops, are all nearby. For someone visiting Los Angeles for the first time, this is a very convenient place to stay.

The hotel itself is large, modern and has a pleasant atmosphere. The room was comfortable, spacious enough and had everything needed for a stay. I especially liked the view from the hotel — in good weather, you can see Hollywood and the famous Hollywood sign.

During the FIFA World Cup 2026, the hotel was quite busy, but the staff generally handled the large number of guests well. The atmosphere was very lively, with many tourists and football fans, so staying there during this period felt especially interesting.

As for the downsides, prices in Los Angeles during major events are quite high: they can be twice as expensive, or even up to five times higher. Also, because of the popularity of the location, there are always lots of people around.

However, if location, comfort and the opportunity to stay right in the centre of Hollywood are your priorities, Loews Hollywood Hotel is definitely worth considering.

For me, it is a good option for getting to know Los Angeles, especially if you want to conveniently combine your stay with city walks and visits to the main tourist attractions.
