Lake Como, how to get from Milan and what to see

Today it will be a route to get from Milan to Lake Como for 1 day.

1. First, we go to Milan Central Station (Milano Centrale)

2. Buy a ticket at the station or on the website of the Trenitalia railway https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html according to the route:

Milano Centrale - Varenna-Esino.

4. Then from Varena we take the ferry to Bellagio.

The pier is about a 10-minute walk from the station.

5. Then we get on the ferry and go to the town of Lenno (20 minutes by ferry), this is where the most famous Villa del Balbianello is located.

6. Then we return to Varena and go by train to Milan.
