Hello, I'm Sasha 👋 I've been living in Ireland for a long time and would like to share interesting places with you if you want to visit Dublin or offer it as a tour for tourists.

🛂 Visa

Now, Ukrainian citizens do not need a visa, which makes this country even more accessible.

📆 Time of year

The best time to visit is from April to October, when it is warm and there is less rain, although it does rain a lot.

Nature amazes with its greenery, and the city comes alive with festivals.

🗺️ Ready-made itinerary for 1-2 days in Dublin

Day 1

▪️Trinity College and the Book of Kells

The oldest university in Ireland with an impressive library.

▪️Dublin Castle (Dublin Castle)

The historic city center is interesting for those who love history.

▪️Christ Church Cathedral

The main cathedral of the city with medieval architecture.

▪️Guinness Storehouse

An interactive beer museum, about how it all began and up to modern production, with an observation deck on the roof with a panoramic view of the city.

Day 2

▪️St. Stephen's Green Park

A peaceful place for walking and relaxing.

▪️Temple Bar (Temple Bar)

An area with pubs, live music and one of the most famous and oldest pubs.

▪️Ha'penny Bridge

A symbol of the city, perfect for an evening stroll.

For children

▪️A large amusement park outside the city - Emerald Park - is a local "Disneyland" with attractions, roller coasters, a petting zoo and picnic areas. Only an hour's drive from Dublin!

▪️ Dublin Zoo . One of the oldest zoos in Europe, located in Phoenix Park. There are over 400 species of animals here, including giraffes, elephants, penguins and others.

▪️ Portmarnock Beach is a sandy beach near Dublin for summer walks.

▪️ Explorium Science Center is an interactive museum where children can learn about science and technology through games.

Tips for tourists

Transport - it is better to get around on foot or by public transport (buses/Luas tram). It is not worth renting a car.

Souvenirs are available in Temple Bar shops, but the cheapest ones are at Penneys or in the markets.

Food - the national food is not particularly specific, there are more variations in alcoholic beverages, but be sure to try Irish stew and a traditional breakfast with eggs, potatoes and bacon.

Tourists love the Wing's World Cuisine all-inclusive restaurant, where food is unlimited and the cost for 1 adult starts at 20 euros.

🍀 St. Patrick's Day (March 17), if you are planning a trip in the spring, be sure to come to Ireland's main holiday.

The whole country is celebrating, everyone will be dressed in green, there will be a large-scale parade and a festive atmosphere on the streets of the city. This is the best way to experience the local culture and traditions.
